fall is here

The leaves are starting to fall, like fire beginning to catch. When the first fire sparks, color bursts into the cloudless blue sky. Orange, gold, scarlet and colors that have no names fly into the vast world of blue. The air holds a hint of chill as it rustles through the dry leaves and sends them sailing. Fresh, crisp smells fill the air and because of it, the windows stay open and people gather. Laughter is heard almost as loud as the geese that call as they head south and leave until spring. Socks and sweaters are put on to keep the chill air from nipping through. People walk on the streets with renewed and refreshed purpose — fall is here.
