boys are not cute.

I've heard it too much. The whispers, the giggles, the silly talking. "Don't you think he's cute?" "I know! But isn't he cuter?"

For goodness sake. I'm sick of it.

First of all, please say guys or young men. Second of all, young men are not cute. At least I hope they aren't. Cute is for babies, cute is for pretty pink dresses. Not for young men.

um, really. Even the dictionary is clear. If young men are anything, they're handsome or attractive. But talking about how attractive they look is plain silly. Perhaps, focus on how they act, please?

Boys are not pretty cute.

Thank you very much.

  2. Oh HAHA!!!! You sound so much like me!!! :D

I will sometimes say that a guy's grin is cute, but as a rule, I say guys are "handsome" or "lookers" or even "hot". ;) LOL

  5. yeah, this is so true! guys are not cute! and i don't know why girls call them 'boys' if they're like sixteen or something. it's weird. and i don't know why they even say they're 'hot'! i mean, they're not really hot, are they? you wouldn't want to touch them if they were hot! won't handsome or attractive do, girls?
thanks for sharing this post, kendra : D

  6. I think that the word cute has kind of evolved into a word that means good looking if you're talking about guys. For me, cute can mean like the baby's so adorable or I think it can be used for guys and their handsomness too. :P :) I still think guys are cute. ;-)

    good post, though! :)

  7. Agreed. ;) Except if it is talking about my little brother, who would have you believe he is 18 (you've got 14 years yet, Daniel)...

  9. @Amanda *ahem* Excuse me, but Peter is not cute. He's handsome. A High King simply cannot be cute.

  10. @Amanda and Kendra: I actually don't think Peter's cute... and I guess he's kinda handsome, but I don't like any of the character in Narnia... I don't like Narnia. Although the Prince Caspian dude's pretty handsome! I actually don't consider him cute, he's handsome. There's just some guys that in my opinion fall under the cute category and some under the handsome. And Orlando Bloom is cute and handsome and goodlooking and yah. :-P Although, I respect your opinions completely, Kendra!

  11. I also just read the Dictionary thing Kendra had, and it said 'attractive or pretty especially in a childish, youthful way....ect, ect." It didn't say that cute could *only* be used for babies, dresses, ect. Wow, I sound really harsh and that is not my intent. :-) I just noticed the dictionary description again. Different people, different views. :-) :-) And now I'll shut up before Kendra bans me from her blog or something. :)

    1. How can you NOT like Narnia?! hehe. Well, I guess it's just how I thought of it, but cute totally just doesn't seem right for men anyway.

    2. I will admit, I only saw the very first one, and every single character annoyed me to d.e.a.t.h. Except for the white witch or queen or whoever she was. Like Edmund- he was soo stupid! He totally got them all into trouble and I was like, "dude! I would never be that dumb even if I were two years old!". :-P Maybe I should watch the second one when they're all older??? Are they any smarter? I think that one has the Ben Barnes guy in it, I think, and I like him. :)

as for the word cute, I wouldn't use it to describe a guy if I were writing a book, I would use handsome or whatever...
But if I'm reffering to a movie or something, I'll say, "Oh, he's cute!" But that's just me. I always ask if there's any cute guys in a movie we'll watch. I drive my family crazy.

Should I watch the second narnia???

    3. And, I do use the word guys or young men, because boys totally doesn't fit them. :)
