Christmas memories -- beware long post

I love sitting around the living room with my family as I watch them open gifts. Seeing the surprised delight on their faces makes me smile too. Sometimes I wish I had a better camera to capture their reactions, but I'm happy with what God's given me.

I felt even more blessed this Christmas season, perhaps it is because last year we were over in Egypt, without extended family. Really, has it been a whole year since we were overseas? It seems impossible.

Yes, she looks unhappy -- but believe me, it was because the present was wrapped much too good, making it hard to open.

How was your Christmas?

My little four-year-old brother got a car for Christmas, and when he opened it he yelled, "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about." :D

I have all older siblings, but we still have those dramatic exspressions when we open presents :)

  5. Lovely photos! They capture the action and memories perfectly! :) Our Christmas was good! My two older bros and I went to see a A Game of Shadows Christmas morning- totally awesome! Then, our cousin came and picked us up from the theater so we didn't have to walk back to my aunt's house, which was awesome. Then we opened presents and stockings, and yah, had fun. :)
