I am like soo excited. seriously.

Because . . . we (Samuel, Anna, Max & I) get to see Tenth Avenue North live in concert at the Kentucky State Fair on Monday! Did I mention it's my first concert? Yeah, you peoples are probably like, "Wow, she's never been to a concert? That's crazy." But that only makes me more excited. Tenth Avenue North is one of the best Christian bands in my mind, besides Third Day and Rush of Fools and Casting Crowns and MercyMe. And then I could go on and on about Chris Tomlin and TobyMac and Britt Nicole and Jamie Grace, well -- I think that's enough. I could write a whole blog post all about my favorite artists. I love newer Christian music, like not hymns . . . but I'm not really into rapping and too many drums. Like TobyMac is enough, and the Newsboys if I'm in the right mood. Anyway, I'm rambling on too much (I do that when I'm excited), so let me go back. Where was I? Oh yeah, Tenth Avenue North.

                                                                   *ahem*

Yeah, they look like any other regular band that stares at the camera and tries not to smile.

But, they're not. Really. See?

Look at the old lady in the background. Shows you what kind of band Tenth Avenue North is. I'm just gonna add a ton of pictures of them. By the way, I'm not like hacking into their cameras or anything. These pictures were on their website...

notice narnia

And yet no, I do not like them just because they are funny and they have crazy pictures on their website. I enjoy their muisc too, of course. I mean like, who couldn't?

Love is Here is my favorite of their songs right now.

Don't know if any of ya'll have heard of the "Grace Card", but they did a music video for that...

Well, I should probably be going to bed --- this post is much longer than I thought it was going to be. Sorry if I don't post too much, I really don't want to feel like I *have* to post or anything. Oh, and Tenth Avenue North has an online journal with some pretty good stuff on it. I'd recommend you'd go and check it out.

For now, it's bedtime for me. I'm busy with website designing when I do get on the computer, thus blogging has been put aside for the time being. Oh, and I like giveaways, but I'm not doing one with ten prizes again for a very long time. =P It was...a lot of work. I hope the winners do enjoy the prizes though. Honestly, do you gals think my posts are getting a bit boring? I mean, it just kinda seems like all my posts are too funny, or even corny. I've got so many good ideas, but then I start typing...and it just doesn't turn out like how I expect it. And I just don't have the time to take pictures or make a video of what I want. I guess my 'sense of humor' shows too much.

Anyway (how many times do I say that in a post? See how I get off topic?), it's bedtime for me. Farewell, friends!

What's your favorite band//artist? Do you have million (like me)? Or do you prefer to stick to more "old fashioned" music?

  3. I still wish I was there right now. To see them. -I don't really care about you- (remember when we had a whole conversation like that? That was so lame) Those guys, and I think there was a girl, are crazy! xD And that chocolate looks really good. Right now, I need to go to bed. Way too much sugar today. What am I even talking about?

  4. I'm more old-fashioned. Like, southern gospel anyone?!??! The Cathedrals, the Booth Brothers, Greater Vision, Legacy Five, Mark Trammel Quartet... ya, LOVE THEM!

I used to like more contemp. music, but not anymore! :)

    Have fun!

    Love,

  6. I am definitely more "old fashioned" when it comes to music. Hymns and classical only. I believe that most other music doesn't honor God so we should listen to it. I can't tell about this because the sound is broken on the computer. Rock and Jazz and all those other kinds literally give me a headache so that's another reason I won't listen to that music though that would not be my strong argument if we really got into a big discussion on this topic!
Something I would be more excited about would probably be an orchestra concert but sadly, I haven't gotten a chance to go to that either. ):

    Have a fun time!

  7. @Betsy I honor your beliefs. Let's not discuss about it now though, since we just had a huge talk about the skirt thing. Hope ya understand! ;)

  8. Don't worry. I haven't been to a concert either, though we live SO close to the fair that when a singer I liked preformed, I could hear her clear as rain. :D

    Have fun!
