Liquid Sunshine -- blog party

Liquid Sunshine @ HorseFeathers

^
{Isn't it cool that her button matches my blog?}

Olivia is hosting a Blog Party, with tons of prizes. You can click on the button if you'd like to enter. {basically all you have to do is answer some fun questions}

Favorite season, and why?
Summer. Because it's hot & I love it when it's not cold outside {and I probably like summer because I've lived much of my life in the Middle East} And of course in summer, there is no school. Most of the time. For home-schoolers it is different sometimes. =P

How would you describe your personal style?
Like clothes? I don't care too much how I look. I mean, I brush my hair {though when I was smaller I tried to see how long I could go without brushing it, thus mom had to cut off most of my hair}. Most of the time I just wear regular clothes, if you know what I mean...I'm not too into fashion.

What's one weird thing you can do? (The stranger the better!)
Let's see....I can almost stand up on my bike, ride with no hands, & peddle at the same time. Well yesterday I almost broke my head trying that. Okay, I can move my lip up and down without touching it...it's weird, but it looks kinda cool once you see it.

Rain or shine?
Shine, all the way! Though sometimes I like rain.
Confession time... what's a flaw of yours?
I get angry easily. Well, sorta. I don't hit people, but yeah. Maybe I don't get angry too easily. It's just I sorta have a temper. And I like to joke people, even when they don't always think it's funny. Like turning on the haunted house music on Jonathan Park at 9pm to scare my little sister. *coughs* I don't do that anymore. That was when I was an immature child of 12. Now I'm thirteen fourteen.

Favorite music?
Hoho. <---I'm not Father Christmas, that's just sort of a happy thing me and Hannah say. =P Anyways. I like Christian music; hymns. I don't completely care about who sings songs, as long as they're God honoring and don't say "Ye-ah ye-ah" the entire song.

Have you ever made a decision you instantly regretted? What was it?
Yes. Like running through the hallway yelled "For Narnia!" at the top of my lungs. The result? Banging my hand across the door frame. Hoho.

Who do you admire/look up to?
My mom, myself. Well not myself. I don't actually have a ton of people I look up to, I think too many people look up to *me*.
You've just won an unlimited lifetime supply of... what?
Money. I know, I sound like some greedy person. But it is most logical. If I couldn't have money I'd have...*thinks for a moment* A lifetime supply of books? That's kinda selfish too. Probably Bibles & airplanes then.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
An eagle! I've always wanted to fly, plus my favorite Bible verse is::

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do with your time?
I'd travel around the world and tell as many people as I could about the gospel. Then the last month I'd spend with my family.

You're now a gazillionaire... where do you go to spend your money?
I'd save it. Then I'd think about it for a long time....

Classical music: love it or hate it?
I'm not a huge fan of classical music, but I can't say I hate it!

Phobias?
I'm not scared of much. But if I'm in a dark tight space, that isn't fun.

Hop on a plane and go live somewhere for a year... where is it, and why?
Hmm....probably Sudan. Or England. Or North Carolina. Or Georgia. I don't really know.

Are you an extrovert or an introvert?
Extrovert, probably. I'm not great at vocabulary so I had to look this up. *sheepish grin*

Would you/do you perform on stage?
Yes! I've been a donkey in a play before. :P No really, I'd like to be in a play.

Let me know if you did this blog party! ;)

My sis is having a giveaway h e r e

  4. Since I don't do this kind of thing on my blog (and I'm too lazy to sign in right now anyway), may I do this in your comments? If I ask nicely? Like "pretty please with a cherry on top, and a dollop of whipped cream too?" :-) If you don't want me to, just don't publish the comment. And I'll be horribly offended, and email and tell you so.

    Favorite season, and why?
Usually whichever it is at the time. I love all of them.

How would you describe your personal style?
Feminine? Long? Long hair (almost to my waist), long skirts... I love the feel of a skirt around my ankles, I love wearing flowers (usually artificial) in my hair...

What's one weird thing you can do? (The stranger the better!)
I can touch my elbows behind my back... I can touch my nose with my tongue... I can pronounce Scottish place names correctly... :-o

    Rain or shine?
    Sunshine!

Confession time... what's a flaw of yours?
Insufficient patience. And a little bit of laziness.

    Favorite music?
My all-time favorite music would have to be Handel's Messiah. I love classical music in general, but especially opera.

Have you ever made a decision you instantly regretted? What was it?
Yes, I have. And I'm not telling. To smart to give my friends *that* kind of ammunition!

Oh, I guess I will tell. It was getting to know Kendra. :-P

Who do you admire/look up to?
I can sympathize with you on this one, Kendra. I look up to my parents, my oldest sister, and some of my friends.

You've just won an unlimited lifetime supply of... what?
If it's a concrete object, I would probably say money. You can do a whole lot of good with an unlimited supply of money. If it doesn't need to be a concrete object, I would probably choose patience.

If you were an animal, what would you be?
    A songbird of some kind.

If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do with your time?
That's a hard one... Try to meet some of the friends I've never seen. Spend time with family. And record a piano CD so that my family would have that after I was gone.

You're now a gazillionaire... where do you go to spend your money?
Some of it would go towards music stuff. Some of it would go towards travel expenses to meet the friends I alluded to in my previous answer. I'd probably use it all (wisely!) within a few years.

Classical music: love it or hate it?
    Love it!

    Phobias?
    Don't really have any...

Hop on a plane and go live somewhere for a year... where is it, and why?
France! I've loved it the few times I've been there. And I want to improve my French anyway. I can get by now, I want to be fluent.

Are you an extrovert or an introvert?
I would have to answer "both" to that one. And everybody looks at me like I'm weird. You're right!

Would you/do you perform on stage?
I have done so, and will no doubt do so again.

  5. Hope: Yes, Narnia is cool. xD It's too bad it's fake. =P I'll leave a comment on your blog about designing.

Kathleen: I haven't heard from you in awhile. ;) It was great reading you answers! And you're fine doing it in a comment.

  6. I loved how you tied your favorite Bible verse and what animal you'd be together, Kendra! Hmm, why North Carolina if I may ask? (I am from the Western NC mountains myself...so naturally I am just curious...) I joined in the blog party too! Nice "meeting" you! =)

  7. I am a casual dresser as well. I am always SO worried that if I try to put something fnky looking together, that it either won't work with me, or people will think I look stupid.

I love Christmas music too! It puts me in a happy mood and makes me feel jittery inside. ^_^

I enjoyed reading your answers, Kendra!

  8. "I hope I'm not influencing you too much, Hans. =P"

You don't even know... *coughs* What's a little sister supposed to do? But, hey, where are you? I've really been missing you! Love you! :) <3

  9. Hi Kendra!

You are heaps like me. I must say I am guilty of scaring little sisters, though not with Jonathan Park. (I love JP, btw :P)

    Love your blog!!

  10. I love your story of not brushing your hair, though I'm not sure I'd ever have tried that. It puts me in mind of something my younger sister did. She got blue tack stuck in her hair and we had to cut it out. She was pretty bald on one side for a while.
