sewing day

Last weekend we went to my grandma's, and made two baby quilts. Here are some pictures; I had a great time! My mom, Anna, Heidi, & I went.

Yay! We finished one quilt! :)

And we ended up finishing both. Sorry this post was boring, I'm in a hurry. I've been spending most of my free time writing and reading! :)

If you'd like to laugh, click here and see the "drama practice" me and my little sis did. (The 1st vid. doesn't work)

Do you like to sew?

  1. Cool! :D Sadly, I don't know how to sew, but I do know how to embroider and I'm embroidering a baby quilt right now. :)

  2. That's alright. ;) Embroidering is just as cool!

  3. What a sweet time of fellowship you must have had! Sewing is such a delightful hobby, and I enjoy doing it myself. I make clothing (dresses and skirts) and other small things. My sewing machine also embroiders, which is so neat! I know the basics of cross-stitching though. I have never tried my hand at quilting, although I have always wanted to, and hope to in the future!
May the Lord bless you and your family!

    Many Blessings,

  4. Thank-you Jenna! It's such a blessing to have your own sewing machine (though I don't own one; my sister does). I don't like sewing for too long, but I do like the results. ;)

  5. Looks like fun! I am desperately trying to learn how to sew and *ahem* failing miserably...

  6. I like to sew, I'm just not very good. :P lol Hey, I love the new design!

thanks for sharing your thoughts -- comments make my day!
