a big change....

...has just come to my blogger world. (Yeah, I know, I already posted today) I'm now going to spend an hour a day on the computer, not including writing.

I'm going to unfollow all the blogs I follow, except people I know in real life (or almost know) & people who post pictures and what they're learning in their life, but even then I'm going to try and follow no more than ten blogs. I know, this is sort of sad for me, and some people love comments and followers. But it's too much spending 30 minutes on blogger a day, and I still am going to post here. I'm also deleting my follower box. You can still follow through the navbar (let me know if it doesn't work) but I don't want to care about numbers.

I also just went through and blocked a ton of my chat buddies, that was too much. If you'd like to email me, sure, just click on contact.

I'm also doing other things to be able to spend less time on the computer.

I'm doing this because I think God wants me to. I spend lots of time with Him already, but I want to think of things other than the computer.

So please don't get mad if I don't comment on your blog anymore (I'm also done entering giveaways unless our family can use the prize), and you can always email me. I'm still your friend. ;)

  4. GO KENDRA! I'm glad you've decided to do this, and although some people might think that it is very drastic, I've been going through the same thing, so I totally get what you are going through!

I've decided to stat cutting my time down slowly, and eventually get down to only 30 minuets (totally not including writing).

Keep an eye out in the BETB magazine this month to get my reasons of wanting to spend even more time with God.

  5. Kendra,
It is wonderful to hear that you are going to take less time for blogging and more time with the Lord and your family! It is so important not to get "addicted" to the computer!
May the Lord bless you for the great thing you are doing!

    Many Blessings,
    Jenna

  11. That is awesome Kendra - from someone who has pulled back after getting disappointed with blogging numbers, I can say that it really helps make blogging more enjoyable and encouraging!
